LOCAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Hertford Calendar Competition 2026: Call for Local Photographers

Hertford Town Council has announced the return of its popular Calendar Competition and is inviting photographers of all ages to submit their best shots of Hertford for the Official Hertford 2026 Calendar. Organisers are looking for creative images of the town’s green spaces, rivers, landmarks, and local life across the seasons.
Entries, limited to three per person, must be sent by Friday 29th August 2025 to [email protected]. A panel including the Mayor of Hertford and local councillors will judge the submissions, and winners will receive a complimentary calendar and certificate at a special presentation at Hertford Castle in the autumn.
Councillor Ann Woodward said, “This is a fantastic way to showcase Hertford’s beauty, and I can’t wait to see this year’s entries.”
